Classification – Size classification of roasted salted cashews

 

 

The classification – size classification, in the industry of raw cashew nuts for export, we have types such as W180, W240, W320, WS, LP …. However, salted roasted cashews are usually not classified like that, but divided into different types. A+, A, B, C, double notebook, 3, 4… Details are as follows:

 

 

 

– Grade A+ ( or W180): The largest size of salted roasted cashews, with a kilogram of about 380 – 410 nuts. Usually comes from Cambodia

– Grade A (W240): It is a large size, just smaller than A+, usually in a kilogram there are about 530 – 550 nuts. The best kind usually comes from Vietnam

– Grade B (W320): is the medium size, so the price is also quite soft and many customers choose to buy it. In type B, there are about 620-670 nuts per kilogram.

– Type C (W450):   As the smallest size, the output for this type is not too much. This variety has the lowest price of the whole grain (except for salted roasted cashews of broken in half). The number of nuts per kg ranges from 700 – 760 nuts.
