When people think about our factory, they often imagine wide roads, easy access for container trucks, proximity to urban areas, schools nearby, abundant labor, and convenient management and expansion.
And the truth is: We fully have the capability to build our factory in the city.
We have the resources to locate our factory in an urban area – with developed infrastructure, convenient transportation, clear land planning, and easier day-to-day operations.
But in the end, we chose a more “difficult” path.
We built our factory right in the middle of the cashew farming region.
A decision that raises many questions.
“Why not build the factory in the city for convenience?”
“Isn’t management more difficult?”
“Is it hard to recruit workers here?”
The short answer is: Yes, it is challenging.
The fuller answer is: Because we believe this is where our factory truly belongs.

Reason #1: A factory is not only for production – It is for people.
In cashew-growing regions, many local workers:
- Have skills but lack stable, year-round jobs.
- Must travel far to work as seasonal laborers.
- Or depend solely on agricultural harvest seasons.
By building our factory here, we are able to:
- Provide stable employment throughout the year.
- Reduce labor migration to large cities.
- Help people earn a living on their own homeland.
Reason #2: Close to Raw Material – Better Quality Control
When the factory is located close to the farming area:
- Raw materials are sourced faster.
- Long storage time is reduced.
- Freshness, moisture, and input quality are easier to control.
This allows us to:
- Reduce raw material loss.
- Maintain consistent quality across each batch.
- Respond more proactively to market fluctuations.

Reason #3: Local people understand cashews better than anyone.
Many of our workers:
- Have grown up with cashew trees.
- Come from families with generations in the cashew industry.
- Posses hands-on knowledge, not just textbook training.
Working in the factory, they do more than “follow procedures”:
- They quickly identify defective kernels.
- They know which nuts burn easily and which tend to taste bitter.
- They rely on professional intuition that machines cannot replace.
This invisible value is critical for a cashew processing factory.

Of course, there are challenges.
We do not romanticize the story. Building a factory in a farming area means:
- Recruitment and training take more time.
- Operational management is more complex.
- Logistic costs can sometime be higher.
But instead of stepping back, we chose to:
- Invest in structured training programs
- Standardize management systems
- Apply technology to optimize operations
- Continuously improve the working environment and productivity
A sustainable factory is not one without difficulties – It is one that keeps improving despite them.
We believe: The Factory Location Reflects Business Philosophy.
Placing our factory in the heart of the cashew-growing region is not accidental. It is our quiet statement:
- Respect the origin.
- Value people.
- Prioritize quality over convenience.
When a factory where it truly belongs, the products it creates carry real value – not only better taste, but also a meaningful story behind them.
A factory in the farming region – A hard choice, but a worthy one.
If you have ever wondered why our factory is not located in a city, we hope this article has given you an honest answer.
To us, a factory is not just a place of production.
It is where land – people – craftmanship – and the future come together.
